Instructions for Authors
Authors are invited to submit their abstracts first, followed by their full papers for consideration to be included in the program of Architectural Studies: Foundations Positions Words. Only original proposals (not currently under review by another conference or journal) can be submitted.
All abstracts will be classified by the Organizing Committee under the scope of the conference’s thematic areas and peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Authors of the accepted abstracts will be invited to submit the full paper. All full papers will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceeding book with an ISSN number, published by Yeditepe University Press.
Abstract submissions must be limited to 150 to 300 words and follow the format provided in the Abstract Submission Form. Full Papers are limited to a minimum of 4500 and a maximum of 6000 words (including title, abstract, images, figures, captions, and references). Full papers must follow the instructions provided in the Full Paper Template file available in Microsoft Word format. To simplify the double-blind review, please ensure that your manuscript does not reveal your identity. Papers failing to follow the guidelines will be rejected without consideration of their qualities.
All submissions will be completed through the conference website. To submit an abstract and a full paper, at least one author must sign up on the website, register and attend the conference, and present the paper. Accepted papers can be presented in person or virtually. All submissions must be written and presented in English, the only official language of the conference.
